Teaching Sound Doctrine

These are some thoughts that I had after reading 1 Timothy 1. Those who have been gifted to teach the Word must be careful to teach sound doctrine. They must also avoid being puffed up by the insight God gives by his Spirit seeking instead to buld others up with the teaching of the Word. The only way that one can remain humble is to remember that Christ died for sinners. The preacher's life is meant to be an example of Christ's mercy and patience not perfection.
