What UP!

Life is moving really fast right now. That's good and bad. Lots going on. Hopefully I will remember something. I just ordered my books for fall. Who knows if I'll read them. I hope that my classes are engaging. I like a good challenge and I should have one with Greek + Hebrew. It's times like these when I wish my mind was a hard drive that I could simply download the contents of all my books to. Then I could enjoy lectures and writing without tripping about how I will find time to read.

It's cool because some of the things that make life busy are activities I share with Whitney. Like leading SF and running AWANA. This weekend we will be in Waxahachie (sp?) for a leadership training retreat. Some new friends of ours (Eric & Rada) will be there to, as well as some people we have met before. It should be fun and who doesn't love getting of town on somebody else's dime?

This weekend school supplies and essentials like clothes were tax free in Texas. We decided to get me a new back pack. Unfortunately the one I wanted was exempt from tax free status for 2 reasons: 1. over $99 limit 2. had "lap top" in name. Why the second was a no no is beyond me since I can't even imagine a 5 year old in kindergarten without their laptop. Anyways the one I got is pictured below. I mainly like it because its from a San Francisco company.

In about 15 mins I'm off to work...
