Last weekend Whitney and I found out that we had been chosen to become the new Managers of Swissaire Apartments, the complex that we are currently living in. This is basically a dream job. Free rent/utilities + salary + hourly for maintenance work = best job possible for working my way through seminary. The complex has 58 units and is in relatively good condition considering that it is more than 50 years old. There are drawbacks, but the pros far outweigh the cons. I am stoked to learn all the maintenance stuff. Basically if anything needs work- plumbing, electrical etc. I am the guy. The major plus to this job is that it gives Whitney and I substantially more control over our time. Office hours are 9-5 by appointment only. It will be an adventure!!

don't forget you need tools!!! I recommend the electrical probes that tell you if the circuit is on or off.
