Just got back from Cali. It was rad to be home. Mostly because we were able to connect with lots of people that we love. We made sure that we partook of many of the things that make CA the most amazing place to live on earth. While at pizza last night in HMB Whitney asked, "Is there anything in Texas that you can't find better in CA?". I really thought about it, and the answer is no. Nothing.....2.5 years and counting, then we will settle in the Bay and watch God work!
We connected briefly with our church in OAK and were stoked to learn of some very cool plans that are in the works with them. Whether we end up ministering in that community or a completely new one, one thing is certain we will live in the SF Bay Area. Hopefully we can convince some of our friends to join us.
So Christmas is not about getting stuff, but this year I got two things that are pretty stinking rad. An iPhone, and a subscription to the Economist. Whoa! ear candy and eye/brain candy!!! My wife is the most thoughtful gift giver I know!! I love her!
