I watched this segment on Nightline last night. Fascinating stuff. In addition to my interest in an individual who claims to be Jesus Christ, and who's church numbers in the tens of thousands and continues to grow, I was particularly blown away by how beautiful this remote piece of Siberia was.

Siberia in the Summertime does look quite beautiful! As to Mr. V and his followers time alone will tell the real story. Most attempts to build earthly utopias or communes don't stand the test of time. In spite of the reference to his 10 books neither the ABC piece nor the Swedish piece seemed to communicate a clear picture of any "message" or "teaching". I thought both were interesting and alerted me to something I would not otherwise have known about. Stay tuned . . . for the latest developments!!!
I guess I need to read his writings. Because I can't tell if he contradicts the Bible based on the clips. I agree with dad, siberia in the summertime is gorgeous! I always assumed that when Jesus did return that he would not live the life of a normal man (again). i mean it hardly sounds like this former traffic cop descended from the clouds. To me, he seemed like a man playing a role.
He didn't offer that nice lady any fruit punch...
