Not too long ago....


the war in Iraq was a critical issue for many voters. Is it a coincidence that now, as we get closer to the actual election, the economy has trumped Iraq to the point of most media no longer even covering our meddling in the Middle East? Oh yeah, lets not forget Afghanistan..

This reminds me of a friend from Texas I met at the Academy. She told me that the media coverage in Texas is not the same as ours, and that whenever she went back home everybody would ask her about the news released here, but not there. Do you feel the same way?

I would definitely agree. Texas has a love relationship with itself and the majority of the news coverage is 40% local coverage, 50% sports, 9.999% weather, and .001% international/or other news that actually matters.
