2008

My wife posted her five best moment of 2008. That was foreign to me as I typically use the advent of a new year to reflect on the things I regret or failed to accomplish. SO I have wanted to think of my best moments, but I still have a hard time coming up with any....

1. I finished my first year as apartment manager without any major drama, and managed to take the business from being in the hole when I took over, to turning a tidy profit while learning several practical handy man skills in the process.

2. I finally got my wife back.

3. Preparing for my Mark sermon for PM104.

4. Hanging out with friends.

5. San Diego.

Those were all good things.

A good year for you, Andy, actually another year of very positive accomplishment and laying the foundation for future opportunities to learn, serve and grow. Especially you consider that many will characterize 2008 as one of their worst years yet, full of disappointment, marked by fear, greed, and the unexpected disintegration of the world's financial system with a consequent shaking of institutional trust worldwide.
