Almost finished reading Under the Unpredictable Plant by Eugene Peterson. The best book on pastoral ministry that I have read in eons. The most disturbing part is that it used to be required reading for the pastoral internship at DTS. Obviously it is no longer. That kills me. I wish that I went to that seminary.

Peterson is a pastor's pastor, Andy. You will enjoy reading more of his work as time allows. I don't recall this title, so I'll have to check it out for myself in due time.
Don't give up on your profs or fellow students, perhaps you are with them to encourage and awaken a certain kind of renewal.
